Raith Rovers have today (Tuesday) strengthened their rearguard by signing a new defender, Frankie Musonda.

The popular former Luton Town player, aged 22, came through the ranks of the English Championship club’s football academy, joining The Hatters at the age of eight, and went on to captain their successful under-18 side.

Musonda – who has signed a one-year deal at Stark’s Park – has also played in the National League South on loan for Braintree Town, Oxford City, Hemel Hempstead Town and, most recently, St Albans City.
