Rod McIntosh, the resuscitation officer from NHS Borders will be conducting the session, in which volunteers will be trained and retrained in the important – and potentially life-saving – use of CPR and defibrillators.

The session, which is free of charge and open to all, follows the recent closure of the newsagents across the High Street where the charity has had an AED for almost 12 years.
