Royal Highness’ The Prince & Princess of Wales invite Janice Moth to ‘Together At Christmas’ Carol Service at Westminster Abbey for her pioneering work to end loneliness!

Janice Moth is known globally as a pioneer specialising in ending loneliness in workplaces and communities. She is a member of the Institute of Leadership and completed a scholarship to Harvard Business School studying Social Health Innovation & Change initiatives – Positive Power and Influence. Janice has not only lived experience of loneliness herself but and witnessed the potentially devastating impact it has in workplaces and communities.
Janice said “It’s because of my own lived experience of loneliness that I decided 8 years ago that I had to do something to change that. The cost to the economy each year in the workplace is £2.5 billion but it’s the human cost that is absolutely catastrophic.
"I incorporated It Socks to be Lonely Sometimes Limited (ISTBLS) who presented The Glamour Club vintage and themed events ‘A Great Night Out During The Day’. After 33 ‘flagship’ very successful events and 3 concept commissions became a Community Interest Company this year in August. ISTBLS is a consultancy specializing in ending loneliness and we have our ground breaking CLAW – Curing Loneliness At Work workshops.
"So, needless to say I am absolutely over the moon and can’t quite believe that my work to end loneliness has led to me being not only noticed but that I have been personally chosen to attend this prestigious event. It is going to be one of the best days of my life! I go with my heart full with every single person who has volunteered with us to end loneliness, all of local dignitaries, MPs, collaborators, supporters, our guests their family, loved ones and carers. A special mention to Bob Smytherman Worthing’s Town Cryer a staunch supporter of The Glamour Club events.

"And mostly I will be thinking of my little mum’s legacy that one of her children will be singing carols by invitation of the royal family at Westminster Abbey!”.
