The free two-way service will meet commuters travelling from Borders and Midlothian stations on racedays and fires in to action on Guy Fawkes Day which marks the start of Musselburgh’s jumps season.

Jedburgh based Bewley said the new service was sure to be hit with Borders based racing fans when it starts on Thursday 5 November.

“I know there are many fellow Borderers who like to enjoy a day at Musselburgh races, so anything which makes getting to and from the racecourse easier is to be welcomed.”

Musselburgh’s first National Hunt meeting of the season is on Thursday November 5, gates open at 11am and first race is at 1pm.
