The Church of Scotland minister decided to walk between his the five churches he looks after, namely Hownam, Morebattle, Linton, Hoselaw and Yetholm.

Colin went on to raise a fantastic £2,317.50, thanks in part to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and the Hunter Foundation, which topped up the amount participants raised by 50%.

Colin's experience as a missionary in Zambia, Egypt and Israel allowed him to cope with the barbed wire he encountered along his pilgrimage.

Churches have been unable to fundraise during the past year due to Covid-19, so his efforts were most warmly welcomed by the parish.
