Borderers commemorated the 75th anniversary of VE Day in memorable fashion despite the lockdown on Friday.

Much like the scene on May 8, 1945, homes and streets were bedecked in red, white and blue as people held tea parties and raised a glass to those who fought for our freedom in the 1939 - 1945 conflict...here’s some photos of the celebrations in Galashiels, Jedburgh, Kelso, Bonchester Bridge and Denholm.
