Much like the scene on May 8, 1945, homes and streets were bedecked in red, white and blue as people held tea parties and raised a glass to those who fought for our freedom in the 1939 - 1945 conflict...here’s some photos of the celebrations in Galashiels, Jedburgh, Kelso, Bonchester Bridge and Denholm.
