"Goats in Coats"
A fabulous family Fun day was to be had out at Lunan Bay Farm (Just under the railway bridge and 2nd left at Inverkeillor) where Jillian McEwan runs her Cashmere goat business. For a few weekends per year, Jillian opens up the farm so families can take their children out to meet and cuddle a few of the young goats. There is a Goat Coat exhibition, a knitting competition, you can visit The Royal Highland Education Trust stand. With lots of stalls and things to do It`s great fun for all the family. There is face-painting, stalls, a coffee truck, and a demonstration of an old fashioned spinning wheel. At the top end of the field more goats are on display, and it`s all aboard the "Bogie Bus" to get you there. Just be prepared for your kids to overload of cuteness. These photographs are from Saturday, but "Goats and Coats" is on again tomorrow and next weekend 18th & 19th April..
