Body found in search for missing Jedburgh woman
The 62-year-old was reported missing yesterday, having been last seen at her home in the Dounehill area at around 11pm on Wednesday, wearing a black hooded top, black jacket, black running trousers and purple trainers.
She is believed to have left the property in a dark blue Toyota Auris, with the registration plate SL68 CHV.

Hide AdHowever, in the search for Charmain, the body of a woman was discovered near Leaderfoot Viaduct.
A police spokesperson said: “Police Scotland can confirm that around 8.20pm on Thursday, 21 January, 2021, the body of a woman was discovered near Leaderfoot Viaduct in Melrose.
"Formal identification has yet to take place, however, the family of 62-year-old Charmain Ledsham who was reported missing from Jedburgh on Thursday morning, has been informed.”
Yesterday, police Sergeant Phil Winning said: "This is completely out of character for Charmain and we are growing increasingly concerned for her safety and wellbeing.”
