Good vibes with day-long Borders festival
Some of the UK’s top tribute acts will be spreading good vibes in the Borders this spring.
Vibes In The Borders will take place on Saturday, May 30 at the Public Park in Galashiels – the first day long festival of its kind from GV Events Borders Ltd in aid of three charities.

Event organiser Joyce Adamson, said: “My husband Owen has talked about doing something like this for a long time, but I've knocked it back saying it would be too much work. But for some reason this year I thought, 'Why not?'.
“So we made a start on it last year, enquiring about where we could have it and we got there eventually.
“Some of the acts we've worked with before so we know they're good, so we just thought let's put this together.”
As well as the tribute acts the festival will also have a DJ Tent.
“Joe Quigley, who DJs as Jay-Q, is putting that together for us,” Joyce says, “he was very keen to get involved.”
“And also there will be food vendors and the bar, and we're also going to have three local shops coming along from Galashiels.
“We really wanted to support local businesses as much as we can. Things like the toilets and the fencing are being supplied locally.
"We're holding it in aid of three charities; The Margaret Kerr Unit, Cash For Kids and Andy's Man Club.
“I'm delighted because tickets are selling really well.
“It's family-friendly and we want it to be a real community event and if any local businesses would like to be a sponsor, please get in touch.”
