A DJ rave night is bringing in top talent from around the country together in one space, to get the Borders bouncing.

Dave Telford and his team at Square One Hawick were thrilled to see teens, and 90s ravers together at the Clubland Classix night they put on at Hawick Town Hall in October.

Now, they’re mixing up their next big night with DJs from Ireland and Britain spinning out on March 22, 2024. Daire, Kimmic, Klubfiller and Shugz will be joining local legends – resident DJs Lewis Shields, Louis Johnston and Joel Quigley – at the gig.

Dave, who is promoting the events with friend and fellow bar owner Cian Riddell and bar manager Brayden George, said that following on from the success of Clubland Classix, the plan is to have a bouncing 2024.

“It was a brilliant night, we had teenagers mixing with people who hadn’t been to raves for 20 or 30 years, all just having fun with the music.

“Next up is our DJ night, Subterra North Tour, and we have some pretty big names coming. It’s also on at the town hall in Hawick, and we hope to see people coming from all over the Borders. We are also looking at some bigger Borders venues and attracting even bigger names – my dream is that people won’t have to pay to go to Creamfields and the like for brilliant nights out; we’ll bring the noise right here.”

Tickets cost from as little as £15 and are available via Skiddle, with a booking fee. Click here to buy. For early bird offers, and the latest news on upcoming gigs, follow Square One on Facebook.
