Preview: Fundraiser featuring The Springsteen Sessions

Players and officials of Hawick Legion Football Club are aiming to be top of the league in their fund-raising events over the next three months, with plans in the pipeline to raise money both both for the Football Club '¨itself and also to make a generous donation to the Hawick Flood Action Group.

Later this month (February 27) sees an exciting fund-raising programme to be held in The Town Hall, when one of Scotland’s most talked about bands, The Springsteen Sessions, take to the stage to give their audience a great night out.

Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band are true legends of US rock, and this band is the next best thing. There is no doubting the talent and enthusiasm of this superb bunch of quality musicians.

All the Springsteen classics are there, from the early days up to the present: Born To Run, The River, Atlantic City, Born In The USA, Darlington County, Glory Days, I’m on Fire and Dancing in The Dark – to name but a few from The Boss’ huge repertoire.
