Love letters and music make for memorable performance
The event, a combination of music and memories, lies somewhere between a wedding reception and a radio dedication show.
The day begins with an informal writing workshop where you can choose a personal song, compose a dedication to a loved one and enjoy a cup of tea and some biscuits.

These dedications and the songs you have chosen will then form the evening performance, which all workshop participants will be invited to. As a guest, you can celebrate love, drink bubbly, listen to the dedications and even join in a dance.
Uninvited Guests and Fuel have been touring the show since 2007.
In 2009 the show was a hit at the Edinburgh Fringe and this has led to high profile presentations at the Southbank Centre in London and with the RSC in Stratford.

Love Letters is an opportunity for people to hear the song they’ve requested and the words they’ve written about a loved one spoken on their behalf, in a celebratory and moving event.
Love Letters Straight From Your Heart takes place at Tower Mill, Heart of Hawick, on Thursday, October 30.
The workshop runs from 12.30pm-2.30pm, with the evening performance starting at 7pm.
