Keddie's new vehicle heads for MacArts

The Andy Keddie Band - a new vehicle for the musical compositions and interpretations of its eponymous singer/songwriter - will perform at the MacArts Centre in Galashiels next Friday, March 24.

Joining him for this one-off rock/pop gig will be long-time collaborators with the Border Boogie Band – Frank Usher (guitar), Gavin Dickie (bass) and David Little (drums).

Keddie will pay homage to singing heroes – including Scott Walker, Donny Hathaway, Boz Scaggs, David Bowie and Lowell George – as well as showcasing tracks from his forthcoming soul album, News For You.

Tickets are priced at £5 for the two-set show, which starts at 8pm (doors open 7pm), available on www.macarts.scot or by calling 01896 756852.

There will be a licensed bar available throughout the gig.
