Dansi are an upbeat six-piece ensemble from Northumberland, who blend folk, rock, pop and world music to a backdrop of Wilf’s soothing, yet powerful vocals and euphoric and bouncy brass lines.

Their debut EP launch immediately placed them as a force to be reckoned with on the North-East of England music scene, and with gigs booked at venues all over the UK, the coming months promise to be very exciting.

Drawing on a wealth of collective musical experience, Dansi’s members have enjoyed storming stages across the UK festival circuit, as members of an eclectic range of bands, from the seven-piece party Pikey Beatz, to the soulful melodic sounds of The Fiona Clayton Band, to the international-touring, critically acclaimed Tarras.

The band members have performed at various BBC stages and Live Radio sessions, countless headline festival slots and done extensive touring across the Continent.

There’s a chance to catch them in a more intimate setting when they play Midlem Village Hall on July 29 at 7pm. Tickets cost £10, and are available on 07887 984 845, or from [email protected]
