Comedy treats by Denholm Drama
In, Apps in the Alps, (written and directed by Steve Smith) Princess Marianne, heir to the throne of an alpine microstate, endeavours to find a soul mate via the Internet instead of having her future husband chosen for her by her parents.
The second play, Sherlock Holmes and the Aquilla Diamond, is a send-up of the ‘Sherlock’ genre, written by Sid River and directed by the group chair, Jackie Hale.

Hide AdThe comedy sketch involves a couple (played by Walt Holland and Jackie Hale) having a meal out to celebrate their first anniversary. The male half of the couple is a senior HR officer and treats the hoped for romantic evening as an appraisal interview!
The hard-working backstage crew have, as always, gone the extra mile to create fantastic scenery, sound effects and lighting to enhance the production.
