Clubland Classix night in Hawick: Early Bird tickets are available for October event with top DJs

A Clubland Classix night will take place in October and Early Bird tickets are already up for sale.

It’s been a dream of Dave’s to bring such an event to his home town.

He says: “The cost of living is so high and people can’t afford to go to a lot of these events in the bigger cities and so we are bringing it here to us.

Iconic clubland DJs are on their way

Dave explains: “People who love music would normally have to pay an arm and a leg for such an experience out of town.

“It could cost a week’s wages by the time you’ve paid for everything such as travel, the event, drinks and hotel in places like Glasgow or Edinburgh.”

That’s a big sum of money to enjoy the thrill of some iconic DJ vibes; and yet Square One at Hawick Town Hall is selling tickets to its October event for less than £20 each.

Leading clubland DJs will be making their way to Hawick, bringing some special music to a venue which is already excited to welcome them. They include Ultrabeat, Flip N Fill, Hixxy and Ian Van Dahl.

Local DJs will be able to learn from others

Local DJs including Stephen Cook, Lee Sanderson, Dougy Telfer and Luke Gierus will also be playing some classic sounds.

Dave is thrilled that some of the local up-and-coming DJs will be able to play alongside some of the bigger names as the evening moves on.

Says Dave: “We’ve succeeded in planning a Clubland Classix event here in Hawick. It’s exciting and we want people to know about it!

“I just want people to come and have a good time, not having to spend an arm and a leg to actually enjoy the music. It’s great that something like this is really happening here.

“Come and see some of these DJs who are huge. People don’t need to step out of their comfort zones and go to a big city to enjoy something like this. Just come and have a good time with us.”

The event is on October 21 from 7:30pm to 1am. Standard tickets, available via Skiddle with a booking fee, are £18 or £15 for an Early Bird.
