Flautist Hannah Foster studied at St. Mary’s Music School, where she was awarded the prize for Woodwind Excellence in Music, the Leonrd Friedman Chamber Music prize and the Jennifer Rimer Award for National Achievement.
At 16 she made her concerto debut at the Edinburgh Competition Festival and enjoys giving recitals and playing in chamber groups. She was a woodwind finalist in the BBC Young Musician 2014. She has performed flute concertos with the Meadows Chamber Orchestra and the Abingdon Symphony Orchestra.
She is currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she was awarded a scholarship.
Pianist Iain Clarke is 18 years old and is studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Originally from the Isle of Arran, he is a multi-talented instrumentalist, winning prizes in clarinet, saxophone and piano.
Hannah and Iain will perform sonatas by Bach, Bizet Debussy and Prokofiev.
Tickets cost £17.50 for non-members (under 18s £8.75) and £13.50 for members (under 18s £6.75). After the concert, you can meet with the artists at a finger buffet supper with wine (optional at an additional charge of £7.50).
