VIDEO: Gary Anderson triumphs in Dublin
Eyemouth darts professional Gary Anderson secured his survival in the PDC Premier League with a 7-3 win over Wes Newton in Dublin on Thursday night.
Despite the pressure of gaining a much needed win, Gary was full of nerves with his parter Rachel at home and due to give birth while he was in Dublin.
Had he got a call, the PDC had arranged to fly him home right away, but in the end the call did not come and Gary was able to avoid having to go into Judgement Night next week in Cardiff by winning the first game of the night at the 10,000 packed O2 Arena.
He won five games against the darts and had a 97.41 average.
