Berwick Bandits rider Matej Kus, the star performer in a thrilling 48-41 victory over Edinburgh Monarchs, describes his team’s performance as “brilliant.”
“I’m proud of all the team,” he says after leading the way with a superb performance on the night.
The 25-year-old Czech rider claimed four victories as a high-scoring reserve on his way to a personal points tally of 16+1.
But he says he was nervous riding in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
