The full back, from Jedburgh, is in the Scotland Women 7s squad for the Rugby Europe Sevens Championship Series opener in Lisbon this weekend.Last Sunday, Chloe, 25, helped Harlequins Women pick up the first Premier 15s title in their history, as they beat reigning and two-time champions Saracens Women 25-17 in Gloucester. She tweeted: “What a game. What a day. So happy to be a part of this team and a part of this amazing achievement.”

FOSROC Scottish Rugby Academy coach and former Scotland Club XV stand-off Chris Laidlaw – also from Jedburgh – has been appointed as the Scotland Women’s 7s interim head coach. The first leg of the Women’s Championship, formerly known as the Grand Prix, will feature nine teams from across the continent, with Scotland featuring in Pool C alongside Spain and Portugal. Scotland’s first match on Saturday is against hosts Portugal (10.44am local time), before taking on Spain (2.44pm local time).Three weekend GB Sevens camps have been held which, said Laidlaw, provided valuable time together as a group to connect off-field and work hard at their game on-field. “The players selected know they have a really exciting challenge ahead to represent the whole group in Portugal at the weekend,” he added.

All tournaments will be live streamed on Rugby Europe TV.
