Unfortunately, there was no tournament this year as these were the only two schools who could raise a team to play and it was a similar situation for the S3Bs, but again it was a very even match, both games being played on a glorious sunny morning at Peebles.

In the 2nd XI game both teams took a while to settle, but it was Kelso who took the lead first with a fantastic strike from Lauren White. Peebles were, however, quick to retaliate and soon evened the score, but the visitors then piled on the pressure and following a penalty corner, Maisie Zabrocki slipped the ball in at the post to enable Kelso to go 2-1 up just before half-time.

Then, following the break and catching the home side unawares, they made a superb start to the second half with some very slick passing from the centre and Maisie scored her second goal.

Both teams battled hard for the remainder of the game, but the score line remained the same and Kelso retained the trophy.

The S3B gold medals went the way of Peebles thanks to a goal from Rowan Scott in a 1-0 win over Kelso.
