Horse Racing: Kelso beats the weather
Racing will go ahead at Kelso this afternoon despite concerns yesterday caused by the horrendous weather conditions.
Dry and bright conditions are expected at the Borders track, where the first race takes place at 12.00.
Clerk of the Course, Anthea Morshead reported that there had been 6mm rain in the last 24hrs at the course and the going for this afternoon’s Scottish Borders National meeting would be heavy. The wind has eased however with the forcast dry, bright and breezy.
