He carded a score of one under par (71) in tough conditions, which was the only sub-par round from the 84 players who competed.

On Sunday, Jack played in the Border Men’s Championship at Galashiels Golf Club, which was played alongside the Borders Team Tournament and Summer League qualifier.

Again, the conditions around Ladhope were very tough, with strong winds and rain at times.

Jack had another solid round, posting a level par 68. This was good enough for Jack to win his first regional men’s championship in his final year of junior golf.

His score of 68 helped Galashiels Golf Club to finish second in the Team Tournament and qualify for the Summer League semi-finals, which are due this Sunday at Galashiels GC.

Last time out, Jack had to pull out of a prestigious tournament in England because of injury.

He was at Broadstone Golf Club in Dorset to play in the English Boys Under 18 Strokeplay (Carris Trophy).

Jack was level par on day three of the rain-shortened tournament when he injured his hand in heather at the seventh hole.

Jack is supported by the Rowan Boland Trust, George Crawford Legacy Trust, Clubsport Ettrick and Lauderdale and Titleist/Footjoy UK.
