That puts them level on points with fifth-placed BSC Glasgow, fourth-placed Bo’ness United and third-placed Kelty Hearts, though the Glaswegians have played one extra game and Kelty have one in hand, and just a point behind second-placed East Stirlingshire and two behind league leaders East Kilbride.

Sauchie play in the East of Scotland Football League’s premier division and are currently in 13th place with eight points from as many games.

Next up for a Gala is a trip to Dumfries and Galloway to play Gretna 2008 in the league on Wednesday, November 25, at 7.45pm.
