Archery: Agate and Craig win mother of all clouts
Mothering Sunday, the sun was shining and Ettrick Forest Archers were up at Philiphaugh for the first Club Scoring Clout of the season.
A good turnout of seven ladies and nine gents came to shake off the winter blues and get the new season underway. The new Storage Facility in the background, with the base now laid was a keen talking point.
The craic was much enjoyed, catching up with some members not seen since the end of last season in October. The scoring for this first shoot was very competitive and five clouts were scored throughout the afternoon. Especially pleasing was Steph Lindsay’s first ever competition clout and she was rightfully ‘well pleased’.
