You can buy a 4.5 litre tub of Ben and Jerry's ice cream for £5 - here’s where
Feel like you’ve never got enough ice cream in the house? Well B&M may have a solution to that problem, as the retailer is selling a giant Ben & Jerry’s tub in stores. A 4.5 litre of peanut cup flavour ice cream is available to buy for £5.
The chain is selling the tubs usually found in restaurants, cinemas and theme parks because the coronavirus pandemic has meant businesses haven’t needed to stock up.

Almost 10 times bigger
A standard tub of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is 465ml, and typically costs the buyer £4.50. The industrial sized special will contain 4.5 litres.
It would cost around £43.50 to buy the same amount of ice cream in normal sized tubs. That's a saving of £38.50.
How do I get one?
The cooling treats are available to buy from B&M stores that sell frozen foods - you can find your nearest one using the company’s locator tool.

Neither B&M nor Heron Foods offer an online delivery service, so you will have to visit a branch.
The ice cream won't be a regular addition to shelves, and they are unlikely to be restocked once they have been snapped up. However, remember to make sure you have enough space in your freezer before you buy, as the special tubs are 10 times larger than normal.
