Young carers in the Borders get pampered

State Street provided the packs to people at the Scottish Borders Young Carers Service which is run by Action for Children Scotland.

The service works with young carers across the Borders who care for a family member with an illness or disability and has worked with as many as 80 young carers in a year.

Jo Glover, Scottish Borders Young Carers service co-ordinator, said: ‘We are extremely grateful to State Street for providing personal pamper packages with simple but effective items for the young carers. The products such as bath/shower gel, mirrors, manicure sets and other toiletries are ideal as they are practical and will be made good use of.”
