Waiting times below average
During November 2015, 9.4% of patients admitted to Accident and Emergency in the Borders were seen within four hours, according to statistics released this week.
The national target across Scotland is for 95% of all A&E patients to be admitted, discharged or transferred within four hours of arrival at an A&E department.
That is intended to encourage health boards towards a final aim of 98% within four hours.
