Kirsty Lennon from Tweedbank has presented a £281.25 cheque to staff at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary’s Alexandra unit, having raised the cash by completing the Edinburgh Marathon Festival 10K race.
She was keen to raise the money as a thank-you to staff for the exceptional care given to family who were patients there, and to their relatives who visited and stayed overnight in the Alexandra unit.
