Drivers using the A7 trunk road in the town are set to benefit from an improved road surface, with resurfacing works scheduled on Monday, March 15 and Tuesday, March 16.

The £157,000 project will see Transport Scotland’s operating company Bear Scotland resurface 480 metres of carriageway immediately south of the Kingsknowes roundabout.

The A7 will be closed from 7.30pm to 6am on both evenings with a diversion between Selkirk and Kingsknowes roundabout, via the A699, A68 and A6091.
