Police Scotland says a single-vehicle collision has occurred and ambulance crews are still in attendance.
A spokeswoman said: “We were called at 9.45am to a report of a one-vehicle crash on the A68 at St Boswells green. “The ambulance crews are on the scene and the road is currently closed.”
Drivers should avoid the area and use an alternative route.
