STORM FRANK: Latest Borders road closures

Scottish Borders Council has released the latest information about road closures in the region following the impact of flooding caused by Storm Frank.

The following roads are closed. These will continue to be assessed and reopened once they have been assessed and any necessary repairs carried out:

B712 at Dawyk - closed due to flooding - access to Stobo from east

B712 CLOSED between Rachan and Merlindale due to debris on road.

This effectively means Drumelzier is inaccessible, and the B712 is closed south of Stobo Castle to Rachan at the junction of A701

B7062 Peebles to Traquair - closed due to flooding

D83/2 Peel to Walkerburn - trees and power cable down

D1/2 Ettrick to Potburn - closed due to landslip

A72 Kirkton Manor - closed due to flooding

C10 Manor Bridge – closed due to flooding and possible structural damage

B709 Granites Road (north of golf course) - closed due to flooding

Eildon

B6359 Cavers Carre/Clarilaw - due to flooding

B7009 Selkirk to Tushielaw - due to flooding

D25/2 Boleside road is closed due to potential flooding

A699 Springwood Park, Kelso - closed due to flooding

Teviot/Liddesdale

D25/3 Haysike Bridge – closed due to structural damage
