Selkirk court clerk stole from her workplace
Jennifer Maben stole £3,000 while working as a sheriff clerk depute at Selkirk Sheriff Court in the Scottish Borders.
Maben admitted embezzlement when she appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last month.

Hide AdAnd on Monday she was back in court where she received a Community Payback Order of 250 hours of unpaid work.
Sheriff Tom Welsh also ordered her to make compensation in the sum of £3,000.
The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) has welcomed the court decision.
A spokesman told The Southern Reporter: “Jennifer Maben is no longer employed with the SCTS.
