Santa cheques out Kelso Races

The first weekend of December saw a Kelso Rotary Club fund-raising drive in support of CLIC Sargent, a charity that supports young people with cancer.
Rotarians organised a collection at the towns Mayfield Garden Centre and were able to take Santa to Kelso Races. He and his elves arrived by pony and trap.
Club members welcomed or commiserated with race-goers as they left after the last race and many dug deep into their pockets on the way back to their cars and buses.
