Rescued from Eyemouth harbour

Eyemouth's RNLI crew were launched at 2.40 am on Friday March 4 after a woman fell in the town's harbour.

A fisherman saw the women fall and raised the alarm. He ran to her and managed to get the casualty onto a fishing boat while the emergency services were paged.

The crew worked with other emergency services, helping to transfer the casualty to the pontoon where she passed to an ambulance, and taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
