Post Office raid in Scottish Borders town leaves worker injured

A Post Office worker has been injured during a robbery in Galashiels on Tuesday.

The robber made off with money following the raid, which took place at the Gala Park Post Office in Balmoral Place at 2.25pm.

A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed that the staff member sustained a minor injury and added that enquiries are ongoing into the robbery.
