Selkirk to hold first online meeting of community councillors

Selkirk Community Council will hold its first virtual annual general meeting on Monday through Zoom.

Like all such town council’s, it has not met since the beginning of the coronavirus lockdown, but it’s been decided to hold the agm using the connection app, which can be accessed by clicking this link at 5.30pm on Monday, June 15.

The meeting ID is 375 662 8255 and the password 153767.

Those invited are current community council members, the media, and anyone from Selkirk and the surrounding area will be able to take part.

During the meeting, various office-bearers, roles and sub-group representatives will be appointed.

After the AGM, a business meeting of the council will also take place, where there will be much to discuss and catch up on, given the length of time since the last meeting.
