Sean Connery’s son pays tribute to his dad

The son of Sir Sean Connery has paid homage to his legendary father following his death at the of 90.

Jason Connery, who has a home in the central Borders, said his passing was ‘a sad loss for the people of the world’. Born in Edinburgh’s Fountainbridge district the James Bond star died in his sleep at his home in the Bahamas on Saturday.

Jason, 57, also an actor, added: “We are all working at understanding this huge event as it only happened so recently, even though my dad has been unwell for some time,”
