Scottish Opera popping up in the Borders this summer

Following last year’s successful Scottish Opera pop-up performance in Hawick, the troupe is planning on two more shown in the Borders this summer.

This time, it will feature some of Gilbert and Sullivan’s best-known fun-filled classic tunes, an ideal opportunity to sample an opera for the first time.

The dates for the 30-minute outdoor, socially-distanced performances are for the Heart of Hawick on July 3 and Harestanes visitor centre on July 4.

Tickets will be on sale at Scottish Opera’s website https://www.scottishopera.org.uk/ from Wednesday 2 June. Dates and locations can be found below, with more still to be announced.
