Police seek missing 62-year-old Jedburgh woman

Police are seeking the public's assistance in tracing a woman who has been reported missing from Jedburgh.

Charmain Ledsham was last seen at her home in the Dounehill area at around 11pm on Wednesday, January. 20.

She is believed to have left the property in a dark blue Toyota Auris, with the registration plate SL68 CHV.

She is described as 5’10 tall, with slim build and straight, collar-length dyed red hair.

She may be wearing a black Adidas hooded top, black North Face jacket, black running trousers and purple coloured trainers.

Sergeant Phil Winning said: "This is completely out of character for Charmain and we are growing increasingly concerned for her safety and wellbeing.

"We believe she may still be travelling in a Toyota Auris and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the car in the Borders area, or seen someone matching Charmain's description."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 0364 of January 21.
