Police appeal for information after man goes missing from Borders hospital

Police are trying to trace a 62-year-old man reported missing from the Borders General Hospital.

Clive Galley was reported as missing from the Borders General Hospital yesterday.

Clive Neil Galley was last seen in the hospital, near Melrose, at 11.30pm yesterday, Thursday, July 2.

He is 5ft 9in tall, of slim build and has medium-length grey-white curly hair.

Clive has an English accent and when reported missing was wearing black Nike trainers with an orange tick, dark-coloured jeans, grey t-shirt and navy blue jumper.

Concern is now growing for the 62-year-old’s welfare and anyone who knows Clive’s current whereabouts is asked to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Galashiels police station via 101 and quote incident number 0011 of July 3.
