“Graham Hayward at Jedburgh Community Council and I have been trying to work out how we can get them working again.

“What was needed was a new underground trench dug so we could put in new cables.

“RJT Construction has been doing a lot of work on the new school building and offered to help as part of their community work, and they kindly sent down a digger which did the work in no time.

“And local electrician Scott Foggan wired it up, and they are as good as new.

“They are switched on every night at 8pm and they look great.

“I’d like to thank everyone involved in this project.”
