Man found in water at Lamberton Shiels
Police looking for missing Broxburn man Shaun Watson have confirmed that a man’s body has been recovered from the water in Lamberton Shiels, near Berwick.
Mr Watson, 39, who also goes by the surname Payne and sometimes spells his first name as Shawn, had been spotted near Eyemouth and Berwick since going missing on August 3, and his family have been made aware of the discovery.
Formal identification is yet to take place and a post mortem will carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
