Kelso Rotary Club closes

In a social media post, a club spokesperson said: “It is with a great deal of sadness that we have to announce that, after nearly 50 years of serving the communities of Kelso and the surrounding area, the closure of the Rotary Club of Kelso.

We very much regret not being able to continue our programmes supporting our own young people, local charities and organisations, and helping all who try to make Kelso a great place to live. Hopefully, at some future date, a new, vibrant Rotary Club may be formed that will once again have the local, national and international community at its heart.

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the people of Kelso for your wonderful support over the years - all the Club members, past and present, have greatly appreciated it.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
