IN PICTURES: Remembrance Sunday in Lauder and Earlston

Hundreds of Borderers young and old turned out at war memorials in Lauder and Earlston on Sunday to make 101 years since the guns fell silent on the First World War’s western front.

Our photographers Phil Wilkinson and Steve Cox covered those commemorations, led by pipers, local ministers and representatives from the towns’ organisations and clubs.
