In pictures: Lauder’s Christmas lights are now shining bright

Rain failed to stop play on Saturday, December 7, as Lauder’s Christmas lights were switched on.

Everything else might have been dampened but spirits weren’t as townsfolk turned out in their scores to see young Alexander Batchelor flick the switch to light the way to the festive season. Our photographer Phil Wilkinson was there to catch all the action.
