Innerleithen Amateur Operatic Society has been entertaining townsfolk for 110 years solid, taking a breaking only during the Second World War.

This week’s production of the Dolly Parton-inspired musical 9 to 5 has been cancelled due to public gathering restrictions put in place in a bid to curb the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Innerleithen Memorial Hall’s stage being empty this week, we thought it an ideal time for a look back through our photographic archives at some of the society’s past productions.
