Though there’ll be no such gathering or announcement due to coronavirus forcing the festival’s cancellation, the town will still enjoy, in a small way, what should have been declaration night, thanks to Galashiels Instrumental Band, when members will play two verses of Braw Lads, from their doorsteps at 8pm tomorrow... in the meantime here’s a look back at photos from declaration night photos found in our archive.
