IN PICTURES: Action from this year’s Ancrum and Denholm ba’ games

Both Ancrum and Denholm had plenty of rough and tumble on offer in this past week with both villages hosting their annual hand ba’ games.

In Ancrum on Saturday uppies won the men’s game 5-1, the doonies claimed victory 4-1 in the under-12s’ game and the 16-and-under game ended 2-2, and in Denholm on Monday villagers beat visitors in a 6-2 win for uppies....our photographer Bill McBurnie was along at them both to get grab these super photos for us.
